Don Valley Parkway – Dallimore Circle & Chester Hill Rd

Project Overview

Bronte Construction successfully delivered slope stabilization and roadway protection works at two critical locations along the Don Valley Parkway corridor: Dallimore Circle and Chester Hill Road. The project addressed long term slope performance, erosion control, and infrastructure stability in a highly constrained urban environment with active traffic management requirements.

Site 1 – Chester Hill Road

• Clearing and grubbing

• Concrete placement in footings and refacing

Site 2 – Dallimore Circle

• Installation of soil nails
• Placement of biodegradable erosion control blanket
• Installation of galvanized wire mesh
• Construction of counterfort trench including backfill and compaction
• Installation of geosynthetic liner
• Subdrainage installation
• Riprap and riverstone placement
