CCG Small Vessel Station

Project Overview

Bronte Construction was hired by the Public Works and Government Services Canada for the general construction of the Small Vessel Station located in Kingston Ontario.  Bronte Constructions in house Deep Foundations crew tooled up and deployed an HD Engineering Crawler Drill Rig to facilitate the supply and installation of 5 ½” Micropiles embedded into Bedrock.  Additionally, we deployed a Progressive Cavity Pump with a Colloidal Mixer.  We overcame some unknown drilling conditions close to the waters edge from boulders from the shoreline protection system, however this did not impact the overall success of the project.
