Bronte Construction was hired to rehabilitate a private dam in Georgetown for Crozier & Associates Consulting Engineers in the summer of 2017.
This was an important rehabilitation project which engaged best practices for the removal and reconstruction of a structure while mitigating impact on surrounding vegetation and wildlife.
Project considerations included: removal and disposal of the existing dam structure in strategic phases, installation of metal railings and stop logs, and careful consideration of drainage, wetlands, and natural waterway channels.
